My Blessings and God

Why am I so blessed?  Why did the Lord bless me with such a loving, wonderful husband after losing one?  Why did God bless me with such love?  The answer must be in God’s goodness and love for us.

John 3:16-17 tells us that “For God so loved the world that he gave his one and only Son, that whoever believes in him shall not perish but have eternal life.  For God did not send his Son into the world to condemn the world, but to save the world through him.”

Through God’s love, then, we are safely cradled.  He sent his own Son to save us!  What kind of love is this? – a love that loves sinners.  A love that loves us even though we are broken and weak.  A love that welcomes us into all that is good.  A greater love  that is more than we can fathom.  A love that is God.  It is with gratitude that we can exalt God during this Advent season.  Gratitude from our heart to God and Jesus.  Why don’t you join me, then, in approaching this season with gratitude for what God has blessed us with!
