Emmanuel

In this last week of Advent, it is time to think of Emmanuel, or God with us.  This is a Father that walks alongside us, not a distant Father.  This Father is in the trenches with us – helping us as we struggle.

And He is sending His Son to do the same.  Not as a political king but as a leader to uplift everyone – a leader that is born to a peasant mother – a leader that will endure our same hardships – a leader that will provide us with the forgiveness of all of our sins.

Emmanuel – God with us.  Forever.
